Companionship Workshop

March 23, 2024

50 percent of people in the US are experiencing a crisis of loneliness leading to unprecedented distress in our neighborhoods and churches.  As someone has rightly pointed out, 90 percent of caring is showing up. Companionship training gives elders, deacons, pastors, and others the confidence to show up and skills to be fully present when they do. Rev. Mark Stephenson (a Classis pastor) is a nationwide (1 of 100) trainer in Companionship workshops. His next training is scheduled for March 23 from 9 am to 12:30pm. Interested? Send Mark a note (budwest@gmail.com). The training is co-sponsored by Movement West Michigan and Doors of Hope. Registration is only $22.
